Short version: Some links on this site are affiliate links, primarily through the Amazon Associates Program. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never determines which products we recommend or how we rank them.
1. What are affiliate links
An affiliate link is a special tracking URL that identifies traffic and purchases as coming from ElectroBuzzi. When you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying action, typically a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. This is a standard, widely used model across the publishing and content industry, and it allows us to keep producing free buying guides without charging readers directly or relying solely on display advertising.
Affiliate links do not change the price you pay. The commission is paid by the retailer out of their own marketing budget, separate from the transaction between you and the retailer.
2. Amazon Associates Program
ElectroBuzzi is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites, including any other website that may be affiliated with the Amazon Associates Program.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This applies broadly: if you click an Amazon link from ElectroBuzzi and later buy any eligible item during that shopping session, not just the specific product we linked to, we may still earn a commission on that purchase. Amazon prices, availability, and product details are accurate as of the date or time indicated on our site and are subject to change at any time without notice.
3. Other affiliate programs
In addition to Amazon Associates, ElectroBuzzi may participate in other affiliate or referral programs as the site grows, including programs run directly by manufacturers, retailers, or affiliate networks. Any such relationship will be governed by the same principles described in this disclosure: commissions never influence which products are recommended or how favorably they are reviewed.
If a new affiliate relationship is added, this page will be updated to reflect it, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
4. How affiliate links are identified
We aim to make affiliate relationships clear and easy to spot throughout the site.
In-article links
Product links that lead to Amazon or another retailer are affiliate links unless otherwise noted.
Disclosure notices
Posts that contain affiliate links include a disclosure statement near the top of the article.
Storefront and buttons
"View on Amazon" buttons, our Amazon Store link, and similar calls to action are always affiliate links.
5. FTC compliance (United States)
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidelines found in 16 CFR Part 255, "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising." These guidelines require that any material connection between a content publisher and a product or service being discussed, including the likelihood of receiving compensation, be clearly and conspicuously disclosed to readers.
In line with these requirements, we disclose our affiliate relationships both on this dedicated page and within individual posts that contain affiliate links, rather than relying on a single buried disclosure.
6. International readers and compliance
While ElectroBuzzi primarily follows United States FTC disclosure standards, we recognize that readers visit this site from many countries, each with its own advertising and consumer protection rules.
| Region | Relevant framework | Our approach |
|---|---|---|
| United States | FTC 16 CFR Part 255 | Clear, conspicuous disclosure on this page and within affiliate-containing posts. |
| United Kingdom | CAP Code / ASA guidance on affiliate marketing | Same disclosure standard applied; affiliate links are clearly identified. |
| European Union | Unfair Commercial Practices Directive; GDPR for data handling | Disclosure provided; see our Privacy Policy for data handling under GDPR-aligned practices. |
| Canada | Competition Bureau advertising guidelines | Same disclosure standard applied across all regions for consistency. |
| Other regions | Varies by local law | We apply our most conservative, US-FTC-aligned disclosure practice globally as a baseline. |
If you are unsure how affiliate marketing disclosure rules apply in your country, we encourage you to review your local consumer protection authority's guidance. Nothing on this page should be read as legal advice specific to any jurisdiction.
7. Editorial independence
Our content decisions are made independently of our affiliate revenue.
Independent research
Products are evaluated against specs, verified owner reviews, and expert benchmarks before being featured.
No pay-for-placement
Brands and retailers cannot pay to be featured, ranked higher, or have negative points removed from a review.
Honest assessments
If a popular product has real drawbacks, we say so, even if it's our top affiliate earner in that category.
Ongoing review
Guides are revisited periodically; products that fall behind newer alternatives are updated or replaced.
8. Cookies and tracking for affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer, such as Amazon, may set a cookie or use another tracking method on your device to attribute any resulting purchase back to ElectroBuzzi. This is how commissions are calculated. These cookies are set and controlled by the retailer, not by ElectroBuzzi directly, and are subject to that retailer's own cookie and privacy policies.
For more detail on cookies used across the site generally, see our Privacy Policy.
9. No additional cost to you
We want to be unambiguous on this point: using our affiliate links never increases the price you pay. Commissions are funded entirely by the retailer's marketing budget. In some cases, retailers run promotions or discounts that are exclusively available through affiliate or referral links, which can mean you occasionally pay less, never more, as a result of using our links.
10. Sponsored content policy
Separate from affiliate links, "sponsored content" refers to posts where a brand pays directly for coverage. As of this disclosure's last update, ElectroBuzzi does not publish sponsored posts or accept payment in exchange for guaranteed positive coverage. If this changes in the future, any sponsored or paid partnership content will be clearly and prominently labeled as "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" within the post itself, in addition to being noted here.
11. How product reviews are conducted
Our reviews and comparisons are typically based on a combination of publicly available specifications, aggregated verified owner reviews from retailers like Amazon, professional benchmark data from third-party reviewers, and, where applicable, hands-on testing. We do not claim hands-on testing of every product mentioned on the site unless explicitly stated within that article.
- Star ratings and review counts shown on ElectroBuzzi reflect data available at the time of writing and may not match current live figures on Amazon.
- Our own recommendations and rankings are written independently of these source ratings, based on our editorial assessment of overall value.
- We update articles when significant new information, pricing changes, or better alternatives become available.
12. Updates to this disclosure
We may revise this Affiliate Disclosure from time to time to reflect new affiliate partnerships, changes in applicable law, or improvements in clarity. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
